So today I turned 28! It's hard to believe I am just two years away from 30...not that it's a bad thing...I'm really not afraid of getting older. It's just hard to believe that 28 years have gone by in what seems like such a short amount of time. It really sometimes feels like just yesterday that I graduated from high school, when in reality that was 10 years ago. Aside from that little thought, this has been a great birthday! My sweet husband, Jared, pulled out all the stops.
The day started with Bella sleeping in a bit later than usual...hurray! I was able to get 9 blissful hours of sleep. Thanks in part to a little pill called Ambien. After we woke up I was greeted by my wonderful husband...a beautiful bouquet of flowers, balloons, and a french toast breakfast from IHOP. Yummy!
Seriously, did I mention how awesome Jared is?!?

These past 28 years have been rich and full. By the time I reach the big Three-Oh, I hope to be able to add to my already blessed life by expanding our little family, and maybe even taking a romantic vacation with my husband to someplace with palm trees and sandy beaches...Jamaica maybe...Puerto Rico...Fiji? Okay, so the latter part is highly unlikely, but a girl can dream can't she??
Thank you to everyone who helped make this day extra special. To my friends at church for their phone calls and flowers, to my greatest friend, Angie...sorry I missed your call but I'll talk to you tomorrow! To my dear Mother-In-Law for her sweet email, and to my Mom and Dad for their birthday well wishes. I love you all!

Happy Birthday Holly! It looks like I got in touch with you just in time. Your little girl is adorable! What a little beauty!
Hey Holls. Sorry I wasn't able to get a hold of you. It sounds like you had a great birthday, though. Maybe Jared can give Allen some pointers. lol
28 and still just as cute as you were in High School. :) You always got all the boys.
We need to get together soon. I still don't have much unpacked, but it's slowly happening.
Haha! Think back to WHO my "boyfriends" were, Holly. They can hardly qualify. Ugh. I sure made some poor choices, didn't I? I think the only thing I miss about High School is hanging out with you all the time. We were such silly, boy crazy girls... Ah, the memories.
Happy Birthday Holly! It sounds like it was a great one! You sure havea cute family!
I thought that I had left a comment to tell you HAPPY BIRTHDAY, but I guess that I didnt, sorry!
I am so glad that your birthday was wonderful, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY (belated)!
