On Tuesday morning I packed up the kids, our buckets and shovels and headed down to the beach. This is one of Bella's favorite places, and it's only a five minute drive from our house.
But this day was extra special...
...it was the lowest tide of the year...
...And this is what we found...

...There were starfish, sea urchins, snails, and crabs everywhere...

It was the perfect little adventure...
Bella had so much fun...
Olivia snoozed the whole time...
and Mom enjoyed every minute spent with her two girls...even if we came back a bit wet, covered in sand, and smelling a little like dead crabs and sea weed...Good times!!

Great pictures! We went the next day after you told us about it, but the starfish we saw weren't nearly as big. How cool!
"packed up the kids" . . . it's so fun to see you say that!
We didn't see any big starfish! Those are awesome! Thanks for telling us about the low tide!
