In August 2005 we met an amazing girl. She was carrying a child she wasn't prepared to raise and we desperately hoped that she would choose us to take over that responsibility. Well, as you all know she did choose us. Baby Bella was born three months later and instantly became our greatest blessing.
Everyday we are so very grateful that we have the opportunity to be a Mommy and a Daddy. The journey through adoption is a long hard road for all parties involved. The emotional pain and sacrifice at time seems unbearable. But it is so completely worth it.
I couldn't imagine our family without the sound of tiny feet running through the house,
the sound of giggles when she is wrestling with her daddy, or the piles of laundry, all with grass stains, from rolling down the hills at the park. I could not imagine our family without my beautiful brown skinned, crazy haired, absolutely precious, Bella. A thousand thank yous to our sweet Michon for her ultimate sacrifice and act of love. To you we are eternally indebted.Our family is not yet complete. How and when we continue to grow is not yet certain but what we do know is this: Adoption is love, and because of this incredible experience we are a FOREVER FAMILY.

amen and amen. it looks like you are still really close with bella's birthmom. i think you should talk about that in an upcoming post. (wink, wink.) i am glad that there are people who are a few steps ahead of us that can relate!!

thank you guys so much for making this, its great! thank you for coming into my life aswell, i could not have chosen a better set of parents to our precious girl. i love you all so much!
