Yesterday evening our little family gathered in our living room for Family Home Evening. It had been a long day so I decided to keep our lesson very simple. We sang a primary song then I pulled out one of our Ensign Magazine's and found a picture of Christ.
I asked Isabella, "who is that?" She enthusiastically responded, "Jesus!"
We continued to flip through the pages, talking about who Jesus is...how much he loves us...and how special he is. We then came upon a picture of Christ preparing the sacrament for his disciples.
Bella took one look at this picture and said "ee's ungry" (meaning he's hungry). This was seriously the cutest thing!!
I then asked her if she wanted to find more pictures of Jesus. she said "sure!" So we pulled out most of our church magazines and as a family flipped through the pages, finding pictures of our Savior.
Children are precious. Their Christ like love, simple, yet enduring faith, and their incredibly sweet spirits, will never cease to amaze me.
